Dear Prospective Family,

 Thank you for taking the time to inquire about Cathedral Christian Academy. Since our beginning, God has continued to be faithful to grow and bless what He has started. It is my pleasure to help you in any way I can.

 

 CCA, established in 2004, is a ministry of Spread the Word Cathedral in Baltimore, Maryland. It is our goal to provide a quality education which is completely infused in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures. As we focus on academic, social, physical, and spiritual training we strive to guide each student into the knowledge of Christ as Savior, Lord, and Master of his or her life.

 

Because "Christian Education" is really God's idea and plan for our children, it follows that Cathedral Christian Academy is a Christ- centered facility, and we the staff are the stewards commissioned to take great care of what He has entrusted to us.  With this thought in mind, the staff of Cathedral Christian Academy is deeply dedicated to passing on a godly legacy to our student body.  In order for this to be done, our goals center around training each student:

                  • Spiritually - "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly."
                 • Mentally - "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus."
                 • Emotionally - "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might . . . God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and, a sound mind. 

                  • Socially - "No man liveth to himself, but let each prefer others better than themselves."
                  • Physically - "Present your bodies a living sacrifice unto God."

                 

In this brief description of our school, let me include that we desire and appreciate family involvement. We want parents to develop a relationship with their child’s teachers.  We believe “Parental Involvement Equals Student Success.” We invite parents to volunteer and become active where they can. After all, we are working together to “train up a child in the way he should go” as the scriptures command.
